Other than occasional case studies, there is little published literature on these conditions; reflecting that situation, we located few Web sites with information that was specifically about these conditions. However, because Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) includes Dissociative Amnesia as one of its diagnostic criteria, and because fugue states are common in people with DID, many of the Web sites dealing with DID will provide information about Dissociative Amnesia and Fugue. See also the section below concerning the recovered memory/false memory controversy, where we have also placed Web sites where the central focus is on the idea that DID is almost always iatrogenic.
